The cookie saga never ends
The GBA published new guidelines on the use of cookies on a website or app.
The Belgian Data Protection Authority (“GBA”) recently published a new set of recommendations regarding cookies. One of the most prominent of these is that the cookie banner must now also have a "deny all" button. Only an "accept all" or "change settings" button is considered insufficient. So this still leaves the cookie saga unfinished. The GBA previously imposed fines in this regard, so an audit is recommended. Feel free to contact us if you want to discuss this further
